An open landscape of nature, remembrance and heritage commemorating Israel’s armored formations
The Armored Formations Park at Yad La-Shiryon is an open memorial space dedicated to the armored formations that have served, and continue to serve, in the Israel Defense Forces. Set among trees on the slopes of the hill beside the main site, the park brings together nature, landscape, remembrance and heritage.
Throughout the park, visitors will find memorials dedicated to Armored Corps units and formations. They offer unit members, families, those honoring the memory of the fallen and other visitors an opportunity to discover the stories of these formations, pay tribute and connect with the heritage of the Armored Corps.
The park was designed as an accessible and welcoming place where visitors can combine quiet reflection, learning and time spent in a peaceful, open setting.
