The Hall of Valor
Discover the Stories of the Armored Corps Soldiers Awarded the Medal of Valor
The Hall of Valor at Yad La-Shiryon is dedicated to the stories of Armored Corps soldiers who were awarded the Medal of Valor, the highest military decoration presented by the Israel Defense Forces.
The spacious hall presents the stories of 16 soldiers whose acts of courage have become an inseparable part of the heritage of the Armored Corps and the story of the IDF.
A visit to the hall introduces visitors to the people behind these extraordinary acts and to the moments of decision, choice, responsibility and comradeship that shaped their actions. The exhibition also includes a database of recipients of military commendations and decorations, allowing visitors to explore their stories in greater depth and even print a personalized certificate inspired by the original certificates of commendation and valor.
The hall is also equipped with a large screen for presenting stories of courage to groups. Because of its unique character, the Hall of Valor is also used for lectures, heritage gatherings and educational activities in a powerful and inspiring setting.
